Lot 293 Al Furstnow Sign and Holster
a) Blue enameled tin sign, 13 1/2” x 19 1/2”, white raised letters. Sign is riveted to board then framed. Al Furstnow – Originator and Sole Maker of the “Saddle That Made Miles City Famous”. Some slight edge damage and light scratches on high points;
b) Includes a great and graphic original blue and white merchandise tag, 3 1/8” x 6 1/4”;
c) The holster is a fine double loop example of an early piece made to fit a 7 1/2” Colt Single Action. Nice light brown color with a large back skirt. The mark is a clear rectangle makers stamp at the top of the upsweep. Small hole cut into the back skirt for a belt hook.
